Dave McGraw

David has been with Trident Academy for over ten years in the capacities of both student and instructor. Beginning in his teenage years, David has grown into a highly-valued instructor known for his high level of motivation and dedication to our students, helping them achieve their personal goals and exceeding their expectations. David is currently a student at Northern Virginia Community College and instructs juniors, adults and competitors here at Trident.

David is currently a level 1 Coach in Combat Submission Wrestling under Erik Paulson, a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Rigan Machado and a 2nd Degree Black Belt in JTX under Patrick Tray. David is also an instructor in Thai Boxing, an apprentice instructor in Jeet Kune Do, and an associate instructor in the Total Defense System. He continues to compete in numerous events.
